The Margate Community
Redevelopment Agency (MCRA) has big plans for Margate
Boulevard.
To the right, see the latest clock tower
design approved by the CRA Board. The MCRA is
also redesigning Margate
Boulevard and making safety improvements. There will be
a “roundabout” at the intersection of Margate Boulevard
and 58th Avenue, drainage improvements, new lighting,
pedestrian cross walks, on-street parking, and new and
improved sidewalks. All of these improvements will make Margate Boulevard a safer roadway for drivers and
pedestrians. A signature clock tower is planned for the
center of the roundabout. Project construction is
planned for early 2007 and should be completed in
mid
2007. The MCRA will work hard to minimize the disruption
that road construction will have on the community. An
