Frank Talerico has been a professional and active community member in Broward County for more than 30 years. Talerico has served on the City Commission for 18 years and is currently MCRA Chairman. An avid proponent of redevelopment, Talerico has spearheaded land acquisition efforts and supports MCRA activities that work to better the community. |

Lesa Peerman
Commissioner Lesa Peerman, originally from Illinois, has lived in South Florida since 1985 and has worked for the Broward County School Board since 1988. Lesa was elected Commissioner in a special election held in January, 2011. She currently serves on the following boards/committees: Margate Parks & Recreation Trust Board, NW Focal Point District, Margate CRA, Resource Recovery Board, Florida League of Cities Legislative Committee for Urban Administration, and the National League of Cities Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Group for Local Officials. |
